A 12.5 oz organic cotton denim, milled in Portugal, woven to hold its shape across years of wear. The cut is relaxed through the hip with a gentle taper to the ankle, a clean line that sits at the mid-rise and works with every piece above it in the wardrobe. We pre-wash every pair to a fade that feels lived-in from the first wear, the kind of black that softens into your wardrobe rather than standing apart from it. Heavy enough to feel considered. Worn enough, it gives.

The denim is grown using only rainwater, no pesticides. That matters to me, but it is not why I chose it. I chose it because the weight is exactly right: structured enough to hold a line, relaxed enough to move in it. It drapes the same on the first wear as it does six months later. Water saving — Cotton grown with rainwater only. Saves an estimated 6,000 litres per jean versus conventional denim.
